![]() A comma-separated values (CSV) file is any file containing text that is separated with a comma, but can also be a file separated with any other character.A CSV file can be opened in any program, however, for most users, a CSV file is best viewed through a spreadsheet program such as Microsoft Excel, Open Office Calc or Google Docs. ![]() Make sure that Delimiter is set to Comma. ![]() This will open the following window: Make sure that File Origin is set to Unicode (UTF-8). ![]() Select the file you want to import from your file system and press Get Data. Go to the Data-tab and select From Text/CSV. Is there a way to get Excel to recognize the comma delimeter? Thanks! I am having trouble opening csv files correctly in MicroSoft Excel for Mac 2011, Version 14.1.0.
